Duncan is a young man. He has an island. Jock is Duncan’s dog. Mr Moneybags sells houses and castles. Leaping Larry is the famous American rock star. Roxanne is Leaping Larry’s girlfriend. Bobo is Roxanne’s dog . Jean Stewart is a teacher after that she got married.

The conflict in the story in winter the castle is very cold and dark. Duncan puts on a lot of electric lights in all the rooms. After the winter Duncan gets a letter from the electricity company. They want £ 5,000.

This story is about one of these island. The name of the island is Lana. He lives in the castle with his dog Jock. In winter the castle is very cold. After that Duncan telephones to Mr Moneybags. Mr Moneybags sells houses and castles. Duncan want’s to sell his island and his castle. After that Mr Moneybags telephones to Duncan. He says Leaping Larry wants to buy your island. Leaping Larry is famous American rock star. Leaping Larry and his girlfriend Roxanne are coming to the island. Leaping Larry and Roxanne go into the castle. It’s very dark because haven’t light and Roxanne want food but the food is cold because Duncan has not any electricity. Duncan, Larry and Roxanne get into Duncan’s boat. Jock gets in too and Bobo is with Roxanne. Jock and Bobo are with them suddenly Jock sees a rabbit on the island.Then Jock jumps into the sea and starts to swim to the island,and then Bobo jumps in too. Bobo is in the water. Roxanne screams then she stands in the boat and starts to hit Larry. She moves the boat suddenly she falls into the water. Leaping Larry isn’t going to buy our island. Where can Duncan get £ 5,000 for the electricity company He’s unhappy. He walk to a place across the island.Then he see a girl she’s looking at sea and she’s painting a picture her name Jean. Then Duncan and Jean talks for a long time. Suddenly she says people can come here for holidays and they can paint pictures of your island and they can stay in your castle. After that they make a lot of money and paid for electricity company. Duncan and Jean are married and they have two children.

This book is very superior because it’s funny story and has a happy ending story. I like the happy endings.
